BALTIMORE, MD (April 12, 2021) – CyberPoint will be participating in the upcoming AFCEA TechNet Cyber event in Baltimore, MD. CyberPoint personnel (including our President, Horace Jones) will be in attendance throughout the week and we'd love to connect with potential partners specifically for discussions concerning AI/ML, ZeroTrust architectures, and Cloud Security.
We'll also have our own Brian Behe as a panelist in the Emerging Leaders' panel for AI for Cyber. The details for this panel are below.
Theater Session: Disruptive by Design Panel: AI for Cyber – Where Are We and Where We Need to Go
Room: Engagement Theater 4: Hall E - #2700
Tuesday, April 26, 2022: 2:30 - 3:30pm
Cyberattacks continue to grow in number and complexity. Meanwhile the attack surface area grows with millions of added endpoints per year, and industry is at an inflection point where we cannot physically train enough cybersecurity operators. Luckily, artificial intelligence (AI) is helping under-resourced security operations analysts stay ahead of threats. In this panel, AFCEA Emerging Leaders brings together a group of AI researchers across government, academia, Industry and FFRDCs. They will discuss where the DoD has come from, where we are today, and where we are going with regard to AI for Cyber. The group will discuss how AI will bring a new level of information security to data centers and cloud, enable dynamic protection, real-time telemetry, and adaptive defenses for detecting and remediating cybersecurity threats. Panel attendees should walk away with a working knowledge of current AI for cyber capabilities and a comfortable knowledge for the future of this powerful technology.
TechNet Cyber 2022 will be a forum for military, industry and academia to discuss and plan how to achieve persistent engagement, presence and innovation. It is the opportunity to devise a new strategy to build resilience and defend networks.
AFCEA International's TechNet Cyber is one of the pillars of the association's TechNet brand and encompasses the Defense Department as well as civilian agencies across a broad spectrum of mission sets.
