CyberPoint CEO Represents Cybersecurity Industry in Maryland's Trade Mission to India

Baltimore Company Helps Maryland Jobs, Economy

BALTIMORE, MD (December 9, 2011) — CyberPoint CEO and co-founder Karl Gumtow accompanied Governor O'Malley on Maryland's trade mission to India in November 2011. The delegation of Maryland business, academic, and governmental leaders met their Indian counterparts in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Agra with the goal of strengthening the economic ties between Maryland and India.

"Baltimore is home, but CyberPoint is an international company," says Gumtow. "We deliver cybersecurity to international customers, and while the Indian market represents enormous potential for us, it also has a lot to offer the United States: tremendous intellectual capital, particularly in software and mathematics, and a dynamic, innovative business culture. One of CyberPoint's central missions is finding innovative products and technologies from around the world and bringing them—securely, safely, and with value added—to the US market."
