CyberPoint's Karl Gumtow Named One of Maryland's "Most Admired CEOs" by Daily Record
BALTIMORE, MD (July 23, 2015) — The Daily Record has named Karl Gumtow, CEO and co-founder of CyberPoint International, as one of Maryland's 2015 Most Admired CEOs.
The Daily Record created the Most Admired CEOs awards program to recognize talented business CEOs and nonprofit executive directors throughout Maryland for their leadership and professionalism. The winners are selected based on their leadership and vision; competitiveness and innovation; community leadership and service; financial performance and growth; corporate leadership and board service; and nonprofit involvement.
Applications must include letters of recommendation from current staff and at least one letter from a nonprofit or board on which the CEO serves. Winners are selected by a panel of business and legal professionals and a representative of The Daily Record. A listing of the winners is below.

Karl and his wife Vicki founded CyberPoint in 2009 and have built it from a small company in downtown Baltimore to a cybersecurity business employing more than two hundred people serving customers around the world. The 2015 Most Admired CEOs will be honored Sept. 17 at a dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. at the BWI Hilton, 1739 West Nursery Road in Linthicum Heights. Winners will be profiled in a special magazine that will be inserted into the Sept. 18 issue of The Daily Record and available online at www.TheDailyRecord.com.
