BALTIMORE, MD (June 24, 2015) — CyberPoint announced that Keith Mularski, Supervisory Special Agent of the Cyber Squad, Pittsburgh Division of the FBI, will be the next speaker in the CyberPoint Speaker Series. Mularski will be speaking about the GameOverZeus botnet at Jailbreak Brewing Company from 3 to 4:30pm on July 28, 2015.

J. Keith Mularski is a Supervisory Special Agent assigned to the Pittsburgh Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) where he overseas Cyber investigations for Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Mr. Mularski received his appointment to the position of Special Agent with the FBI in 1998 and was assigned to the FBI's Washington Field Office where he investigated National Security Matters for seven years. During this time Mr. Mularski worked on a number of high profile investigations such as the Robert Hanssen espionage investigation, and the 9/11 Terrorist attack on the Pentagon.
In 2005, Mr. Mularski transferred to the FBI's Cyber Division where he worked undercover penetrating cyber underground groups. His time working uncover has been featured in the books Kingpin: How One Hacker Took Over the Billion-Dollar Cybercrime Underground, Fatal System Error and DarkMarket: How Hackers Became the New Mafia.
In 2014, Mr. Mularski led the investigations into the dismantlement of the Game Over Zeus botnet and the the first ever indictments of five members of the People's Liberation Army of China for hacking into Western Pennsylvania companies.
Mularski was awarded the 2010 and 2014 FBI Director's Award for Excellence in Outstanding Cyber Investigation, and the 2009 RSA Award for Excellence in Public Policy.
