We are looking for motivated college undergraduates from a variety of disciplines to join our staff next summer who are passionate about engineering, cybersecurity, scientific research, communications, and design. Data Science Intern
As a Data Science Intern at CyberPoint in the summer of 2024, you will be part of a team of engineers involved in all aspects of the software development process from requirements analysis through deployment for an Analytics Platform supporting the security posture of a Zero Trust Network Solution. Following the guidance of CyberPoint experts, the candidate will be responsible for assisting all aspects of development to include: Machine Learning model development to detect malicious activity defined by the client, Machine Learning operations development that support deployment, and monitoring & maintenance of AI models in production. The candidate will be expected to develop appropriate visualizations using provided toolsets for conveying model results to analysts and follow the processes and tools used by the software development teams working in a private cloud environment. The candidate will be expected to develop AI models in accordance with project requirements, deploy those models in Kubernetes environment and support automation activities related to decisions made from model output. The candidate should be able to collaborate with more senior team members.
CNO/Pen Testing Intern
As an Offensive Cyber Operations Intern at CyberPoint, you will be involved in all facets of offensive cyber operations. Specialty positions are available including Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developer and Penetration Tester. As a CNO Development Intern you will participate in the design, development, and testing of application software to fulfill unique requirements on Windows and Unix platforms. You will create new novel solutions and/or integrate new features and maintain existing software solutions supporting computer network operations using a customer-specified programming language. As a Penetration Testing intern you will work with CyberPoint's public-facing research division, containing incident response and penetration testing professionals, seeking novel methods of protecting our customer's networks from those who would seek to do harm.
Software Engineer Intern
You will be part of a team of engineers involved in all aspects of the software development process from requirements analysis through deployment. Projects range from web applications to cyber security tools. The candidate will provide support for all software application tiers including front-end, middle-tier, and back-end. The candidate will be expected to learn and follow the processes and tools used by the software development teams. The candidate should be able to collaborate with more senior team members.
